The clientele of the hotel are seedy looking. It is what I guess I should expect for the money, but having the dresser top and table top's wood chipped away, graffiti in the elevator and bathroom that was straight out of the 70's was disappointing. ...read more

Overall, small room, bathroom outdated, electrical outlets had blown sockets throughout the room. Could not call front desk because the extension buttons did not work on phone.

The rooms were clean and we liked the idea that there was no smoking. Many times when traveling we have been put in room that reek of smoke. The Stadium where the world series was being held was a short 8 block walk. It turned out to be 4 - 5 miles away in a dubious area.

Although there was only one person not two registering, and I am not handicapped and did not request a handicapped room, upon check-in. They very kindly reassigned me to a "normal" room.
